Dashboard Explained

Studio-wide KPI snapshot on a single screen, comparing current month/FYTD revenue against prior year, alongside debtor and WIP exposure. Business Overview is the starting point for any leadership check-in — confirm the studio is on track before drilling into any detail page.

How to use it

Open Business Overview first every Monday morning. Scan the six KPI tiles — if invoiced revenue, debtors, or WIP is off, you'll know before opening a single project report. Use the Prior Year overlays to contextualise whether a slow month is seasonal or a genuine trend. Recovery (FYTD) by Slice is the only profitability signal on this page — if it's low across several slices, move into Recovery Analysis for the monthly detail; there's no Gross Profit % or Average Hourly Rate figure here, so check Business Performance or Average Rate Analysis for those.
