Dashboard Explained
Per-project manager invoicing table showing agreed fee, WIP, forecast, draft and finalised invoices for the billing period. Invoicing Progress is the billing cycle management tool — use it at the end of each month to track invoicing completion by PM and ensure nothing falls through before the cycle closes.
New in Insights Pro: This dashboard did not exist in Analytics Plus.
How to use it
Run Invoicing Progress in the final week of each billing cycle. Sort by the gap between forecast and finalised invoices to identify which PMs have the most outstanding invoicing. Follow up directly — draft invoices still in the system at month-end are typically held up by client approval or missing project data. Clear these before the billing window closes to ensure the month's revenue is accurately captured.
Understanding your data
Key Fields | How it's Calculated |
Agreed Fee / Cap | The total contracted fee or cap amount for each project stage, as entered in Total Synergy. Used as the billing ceiling reference for each PM's portfolio |
WIP to Last Month | WIP balance as at the end of the prior month — work completed but not yet invoiced before the current billing period opened |
WIP Total | Current total WIP balance including charge accumulated during the current period |
Forecast (Month) | The revenue forecast amount entered on each project stage for the current billing period, attributed to each PM |
Finalised Invoices | Total value of invoices with a Finalised status in the current period, attributed to each PM by project |
Draft Invoices | Total value of invoices currently in draft status for each PM's projects — not yet finalised and not counted in revenue |
Invoicing Completion % | Finalised invoices as a percentage of the month's revenue forecast for each PM; shows how much of the planned billing has been converted to finalised invoices |
