How to assign staff to a to-do via the Kanban board

To-do's need a staff member to be assigned to them so they can be completed. The below steps detail how to assign to-do's to staff members from the project Kanban board.


To-dos can be assigned to staff members from the Kanban within a project. To assign a to-do to a staff member, follow the steps below:

Navigate to the Project Kanban

  1. Organisation menu > projects

  2. Open the project you want to assign a to-do on

  3. Project menu > Plan > Kanban board

All to-dos in the left pane are unassigned. There are two different ways you can assign these to staff.

  1. Click into the to-do from in the left pane. Select the staff member from the menu on the right

2. Drag and drop the to-do from the pane on the right to the appropriate staff.


Tips!

  • Selecting the back arrow will save any changes made to the to-do.

  • Sort the Kanban view by project, team and office when assigning to-dos.
