Update Project and Stage Rate Groups

You can now update Rate Groups at both the project and stage level — giving you greater flexibility to manage rates as your projects evolve. This update also allows you to you recalculate WIP in just a few clicks, helping ensure your financials stay accurate and up to date.

Key Changes and Benefits:

  • Edit Project Rate Groups Anytime: Update the default Rate Group from the Project Details page using the new edit icon. Any new stages added to the project will use the new Rate Group automatically.

  • Bulk Update Option: Choose to apply the new Rate Group to all existing stages and recalculate all WIP transactions in one go.

  • Stage-Level Control: Update the Rate Group for individual stages via Work Breakdown or Stage Management. Any uninvoiced transactions (WIP) on that stage will be recalculated accordingly.

  • Smarter Recalculation: Only WIP transactions are recalculated. Invoiced or written-off transactions are left unchanged. If a transaction is reverted to WIP later, it will adopt the current Rate Group.

Availability:

This feature is available to customers on Business and Enterprise plans.

Office Expense Permissions

Permissions for Office Expenses can now be controlled via the Security Matrix. You can grant users access to Read, Add, Edit and Delete Office Expenses.

This makes it easier to manage who in your team can view and manage office-related costs.

Availability:

This feature is only available for Enterprise customers.
