Staff Performance

Learn about the Staff Performance Dashboard

Edition: Business + Insights Pro Add-on, Enterprise + Insights Pro Add-on
User-level: Permissions are set at an Organisation level by System Administrators
Who this is for: Studio principals, directors, studio managers

Dashboard Explained

Per-person utilisation, hourly rate, revenue, recovery, and gross profit in a single table. Staff Performance is the operational tool for managing individuals — use it in performance reviews, to spot capacity problems before they become delivery risks, and to identify people who are consistently over- or under-loaded.

New in Insights Pro: This dashboard did not exist in Analytics Plus.

How to use it

Sort by Utilisation % to immediately identify who has capacity and who is at risk of burnout. Sort by Recovery % to find individuals whose invoiced work is falling short of what was charged — remember this is Revenue ÷ Invoiced Charge here, not the Invoiced Revenue ÷ Charge Generated formula used elsewhere in Insights Pro, so figures aren't directly comparable across dashboards. Use this data as the factual input to performance reviews rather than relying on subjective impression. For aggregate team data without individual detail, use Team Performance.

Access to Staff Performance is controlled by the Permissions settings in your Security Matrix. Ensure only authorised users (e.g. directors and studio managers) have access to this dashboard.
