Dashboard Explained

Geographic distribution of active projects plotted on a map with fee and status overlays. Projects Map gives an immediate visual of where the firm's work is located — useful for understanding geographic spread, identifying regional concentration risk, and informing business development targeting.

New in Insights Pro: This dashboard did not exist in Analytics Plus.

How to use it

Use Projects Map in strategy meetings or new business presentations to visualise the geographic reach of the firm's active work. If the map shows heavy concentration in one region, this can inform where business development effort should be directed. Note that projects will only appear if a valid project address has been entered in Total Synergy — gaps on the map may reflect missing data rather than a genuine absence of work in that area.

Key Fields

How it's Calculated

Project Location

Geographic coordinates derived from the project address entered in Total Synergy. Projects without a valid address will not appear on the map

Agreed Fee (Bubble Size)

The contracted fee for each project, used to size the bubble on the map. Larger bubbles represent higher-value projects

Project Status (Colour)

Colour-coded by project status: active, on hold, or complete. Allows quick visual filtering by project state

Office Attribution

The office managing the project, used to colour or filter the map by office location


Filters

  • Office: Filter to projects managed by a specific office

  • Project Status: Active, on hold, complete

  • Period: Filter to projects active in a given date range
