Dashboard Explained
Automated data quality flags across projects and stages, grouped by category (Budget, Classification, Dates, Stage Issues) and severity (Major/Minor). Data Quality Flags surfaces missing or inconsistent data in Total Synergy before it creates gaps in reporting across every other module.
New in Insights Pro: This dashboard did not exist in Analytics Plus.
Note: Flags indicate missing or inconsistent data in Total Synergy — they do not indicate an error in Insights Pro. Resolving flags requires updating the source data in Total Synergy.
How to use it
Review Data Quality Flags weekly, ideally before timesheets are approved. Start with Major severity flags — these have the biggest impact on reporting accuracy across other modules. Use the category toggle to work through issues systematically: Dates first (these directly break Aged WIP/Debtors calculations elsewhere), then Budget (affects margin and forecast pages), then Classification and Stage Issues. Assign resolution to the relevant PM or admin and track the flag count trending down over time via Project Flags # by Slice.

Flag categories: Budget — issues with fee/cap or budget rates (e.g. no agreed fee/cap, active hourly rates with no budget); Classification — missing or incorrect classification data (e.g. project type not set); Dates — incorrect dates (e.g. an active stage with an end date in the past, or a proposal stage with a start date in the past); Stage Issues — other stage-level data problems.
