Portal chats

Overview

The chat portal will show you all the chats you are a part of related to this project.

You should use the chats portal for all your project correspondence. When used with how it is intended, it has the advantage over email because all your important correspondence for this project is in the one location, not hiding in your inbox.

All unread chats are marked with a teal stripe for 4 seconds from when the page is opened.

Things you can do:

  • Read the thread of all the chats I am part of.

  • Reply to the chat and add anyone to the thread.

  • Add an attachment to my reply.

  • See the profile pictures (if used) of all the other recipients of this chat.

  • Open the recipients’ business card to see their details.

  • Unfollow any activity related to the chat clicking on the ellipsis. This will not delete the thread, but you will no longer receive any notifications.

  • Read the thread of all the chats I am part of.

  • Reply to the chat and add any Synergy staff member or anyone in my company to the thread.

  • Add an attachment to my reply.

  • See the profile pictures (if used) of all the other recipients of this chat.

  • Open the recipients’ business card to see their details.

  • Unfollow any activity related to the chat clicking on the ellipsis. This will not delete the thread, but you will no longer receive any notifications.
