Previously, unassigned roles appeared on the resource planning page by default - now, they are hidden, and can be shown through use of filtering.
Anyone with access to the resource planning board can enable this setting.
Click on the filter button
Use the 'Unassigned roles' filter to determine what period in advance you wish to show unassigned roles
Enabling this setting will help you see which roles are still unassigned on your different projects and stages.
When enabled, new rows will appear in the resource planning board. These rows are identifiable by:
the arrowhead boxed in dark blue
at the top of the list
labelled as “unassigned ‘role’”.
The resource pill is greyed out
The same rules apply in the resource planning page as in the planning board.
Remember, the resource planning page is sorted by the rate, which is slightly different to the role, in that, it is taken from the cost for the resource.
