Once policies and calendars are configured in Synergy HR, you then then allocate these to individual Staff in the Staff HR Settings.
Simply navigate to a Staff member then select the employee drop down > Synergy HR > Staff HR Settings.
Then by selecting each tab, you will be able to assign policies and calendars that were created at the Organisation level.
Tip: Only Directors and System administrators will be able to assign policies and calendars to a staff member.
What is the difference between staff details and personal details in Synergy HR?
Staff details can be viewed by everyone in the organisation however ‘Personal details’ within Synergy HR will only be visible to yourself and HR admin. HR admin includes Director and System admin roles.

How can I add sensitive information to a staff profile?
We’ve designed a standalone Notes and todo’s feature within Synergy HR that can be added to a staff record. These notes are only visible to Directors and System admins. The staff member will not be able to see these notes on their profile.
This is a handy way to add performance information or anything else with a sensitive nature to a staff record.
To add notes, simply navigate to a staff profile, then select the Employee menu > Synergy HR > Notes and todos.
