What are likelihood percentages?

Likelihood percentages are attached to projects and stages in Proposal status type. These determine how likely you are to win this project.

How to update likelihood percentages?

  1. Go to Organisation > Settings > Project lists > Status

  2. Select the pencil to the right of the status line > Edit

  3. Edit the likelihood percentage > Save in the top right hand corner.

Likelihood percentages and the planning board

Likelihood percentages are reflected at a project the organisation planning board, visualising how likely the project is to go ahead.

Likelihood percentages and the revenue forecast

When running the Weighted Revenue Forecast report, the forecast is adjusted based on the percentage likelihood associated with each stage's status. For example, if a stage is valued at $10,000 with a 10% likelihood, only $1,000 will be factored into the forecast.

Likelihood percentages and Synergy CRM

By selecting Kanban View in the CRM, opportunities will be displayed in a Kanban Board, as pictured below:

Each of the columns on the Kanban board use the percentage likelihood set in the status settings.

There's also a Target that can be set by selecting the target value in the 'Won' column and entering a value:

The target set in the 'Won' column will update targets in other columns to display a weighted target based on the likelihood of winning an opportunity, which is linked to each status. For example, if the 'Won' target is $100,000 as pictured above, the target for a status with a 10% likelihood becomes $1,000,000.
