Dashboard Explained

Live list of all active proposals with fee estimate, stage, owner and expected close date. Ongoing Proposals is the pipeline management view — the working table for business development team meetings and proposal follow-up sessions.

How to use it

Use Ongoing Proposals as the working document for weekly business development team meetings. Sort by Expected Close Date to see what decisions are coming up and prioritise follow-up activity. Sort by Days Open to identify proposals that have been sitting in the pipeline without movement — these may have stalled and need a status check or a close-out decision. Use Probability % to focus attention on the highest-value, highest-likelihood opportunities.

Key Fields

How it's Calculated

Proposal Name / Number

Proposal identifier as entered in Total Synergy. Used to find and reference specific opportunities

Fee Estimate

The estimated total fee for the proposed scope, entered on the proposal record in Total Synergy

Proposal Stage

Current stage of the proposal: In Progress, Submitted, Shortlisted, or Awarded. Drawn from the proposal status in Total Synergy

Probability %

Win probability assigned to the proposal in Total Synergy. Used to calculate weighted pipeline value

Expected Close Date

The anticipated date when a decision will be made, entered on the proposal record

Days Open

Number of days since the proposal was created or submitted. Proposals open significantly longer than the firm's average decision time may need a follow-up or a status update

Proposal Owner

Staff member responsible for managing the proposal, attributed by the owner field in Total Synergy


Filters

  • Office: Filter to one or more offices

  • Proposal Stage: Filter to a specific stage in the pipeline

  • Proposal Owner: Filter by the person leading the proposal
