New Project Permissions

Have more control over who can see each project.

Edition: Enterprise

User-level: System Administrator to change Configuration settings.

Director and Above Bypass access limitations by default.

In our October 31 release, we introduced a new option to Project Permissions.

In addition to limiting projects visibility to a team, you can now enable project permission by project assignment. You can use this option in addition to Project Teams, or by itself.

When it's on, people see the projects they are assigned to: as the project manager, a stage manager, a staff contact or a resource. Anyone who isn't assigned to a project doesn't see it. This closes the gap where people running or working on a project couldn't see it because they weren't in the right team.

To learn more and get assistance with configuration, read our Project Permissions article.
