What is the staff calendar?

Use the calendar tab to define which days of the week the staff member works, by entering the number of working hours against each day. For each staff member that is created the default working hours are taken from the financial controls. Edit any part-time staff members to show the number of hours you require entered in their timesheets per day.

The staff calendar is used by the missing timesheets and leaderboard reports, to check each person has entered the required number of hours.

Why use the staff calendar?

Update any part-time employees to reflect their true working hours for each week.

Actions available

  1. Open the staff record.

  2. Go to the Calendar tab under Personal.

  3. Set the 'start' date for when these working hours will begin.

  4. Enter the number of hours to be worked against each day of the week. e.g. Enter 8 hours against Monday to Friday for standard working hours.

  5. Save.

If you have updated the staff record by mistake, then use the 'undo last change' option to remove the top row shown in the history panel.

Click the page actions button in the top right, and select undo the last change.
