A folder can be deleted if it does not contain any files or subfolders. If files exist in the folder, then move the items to an alternate location before trying to delete the folder.
To delete a folder:
Find the folder that you want to delete.
Click the action button > and select 'edit'.
Click the more actions button in the top right and select 'delete'.
Click the 'delete' button on the confirmation pop-up.
The list of folders is refreshed and the item has been deleted.
