When in the Resource planning page, you can view the weekly hours for a resource without having to expand the resource bars.
To do this:
Click on the Settings icon.
Then check the ‘Show hours in summary bar’.
Click the ‘X’.
You will then see the hours in the resource bars.
This setting is set to ‘off’ as a default.
