Timesheets Overview

Create a timesheet entry when you want to track time spent on billable project tasks, non-billable internal office tasks and track annual leave.


How to enter a timesheet

1. Side Navigation > Time and expenses > Time

2.Choose the project you're working on from the project drop-down menu. Choose the stage and task.

3.Enter the time worked against this task under the day of the week.

4. (Optional: Add a note in the text box under the time spent)

5. Save.

How to add time using Timers

Create timesheets from time recorded using the timer.

1.Open Timers at the bottom of the timesheet screen.

2.Add the timer to your timesheet

3. Add the project, stage and task from the dropdown menus.

5. Save.


How to add time using History

Add time to tasks worked on in previous weeks using the history tab.

1. Open History at the bottom of the timesheet screen.

2. Add a previous task to your timesheet

3.Add the time worked against this task under the day of the week.

5.Save.

You can now enter timesheets by manually inputting the project or by using the timer or history tabs.


Deleting a timesheet

  1. From Side Navigation, click Time & Expenses > Time

  2. Locate the timesheet you would like to delete. You can click back through the weeks using the calendar tab at the top of the screen

  3. Click into the cell of the day of the week you want to remove.

  4. Update the entered hours and replace what was entered with a 0. If a note has been entered, delete this before changing the timesheet entry to 0. To delete the select the '...' to the right of the timesheet line > clear

  5. Select Save in the top right hand corner.


Entering a site expense

  1. From Side Navigation, click Time & Expenses > Time

  2. Choose the project you're working on from the project drop-down menu. Choose the stage and task.

  3. Select an inspection rate using the 'Rate (Overtime)' column. Click Close.

  4. Enter the time worked against this task under the day of the week.

  5. Add a note in the text box under the time spent if required.

  6. Save.


Add time against the internal project

1.From Side Navigation, click Time & Expenses > Time

2. Choose the internal project from the project dropdown menu

3. Choose the stage and task from the dropdown menu.

4. Enter the time spent on this task under the day of the week.

5.(Optional: Add a note in the text box under the time)

6. Save.


Tips!

  • Save or Undo any changes made before trying to leave the timesheet screen.
