Changing the layout of a project documents folder

how to change you project document folder layout

You will now be able to set a default layout to your project document folder. You can set this up individually in the project documents section per folder or create a permanent structure in the Project folder template section.

There are two layouts that you will be able to choose from:

Email Details

File Details

Project

To apply a layout to a folder directly in a project follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the document register in the individual project via 'Project tab > Project Information > Document Register.

  2. Click on the 'edit pencil' next to the folder name you want to change the layout on

  3. Select 'Edit layout' from the menu options.

  4. Choose either email details or file details layout from the Prefered layout dropbox.

  5. 'Save' your changes.

Project folder template

To apply a layout to a folder in your project folder template follow the steps below:

  1. Go to your project folder template via 'Organisation > Settings > Templates > Project folder'

  2. Click on the 'edit pencil' next to the folder name you want to change the layout on

  3. Select 'Edit layout' from the menu options.

  4. Choose either email details or file details layout from the Prefered layout dropbox

  5. 'Save' your changes.
