How to set up two-factor authentication

To-factor authentication is important in keeping your account safe. You are able to enable two-factor authentication for extra security of your account in Synergy. Follow the steps below to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in your personal profile:


  1. Go to your avatar in the top right corner > Edit profile.

  2. Select the two-factor authentication toggle to slide it on

  3. Once you have turned it on the slider will change from grey to teal.

Once 2FA is turned on, you'll receive an email with your security code every time you log into Synergy using your user name or email address. The security code needs to be entered before you can access Synergy

NOTE: The code is required every time you log out of Synergy and try to log back in. If you do not log out of Synergy, you will be asked for the security code on the following day.
