Previous steps: Creating a new billable project, Editing the Work breakdown
You can now create the perfect project and save it as a template! Your template will include the Work breakdown, Fees, Budgets, Project contacts, and Resourcing. Here's how you can create your very own project template.
Creating a template from an existing work breakdown.
Open an existing project to the Summary page. A work breakdown should have already been developed.
Click on the ellipses button on the right and then click "Create Template".
Edit the template name, followed by selecting the project type it relates to and a general scope of work, if needed. Click save once completed.
Remember that all the fees, budgets and project contacts will also be included in this template. Before you save the final template, make sure to go back and review the aforementioned to ensure this template can be applied where necessary!
Note! This is will save the current Project Manager to this specific template. This will not impact projects that are created using this template, as the project manager will default to the user who is creating the project.
