Applying a Template to a New Project

This article explains how to apply a template to a new project

When creating a project in Synergy you can insert a pre-determined template of phases, stages and tasks. You can create projects & apply templates from multiple places in Synergy, including the planning board, Synergy CRM and from the project list.


Adding a template to a new project from the planning board (Enterprise only)

  1. Organisation menu > Planning Board > Project Planning

  2. Click on the plus sign in the top right corner

  3. Enter the project details and choose the project template from the dropdown dropdown.

  4. Save at the bottom of the side panel.


Adding a template to a new project from the CRM page

(Only available with CRM Add-on)

  1. Organisation menu > CRM

  2. In the top right corner click on "Add opportunity"

  3. Choose the template from the project template dropdown menu

  4. Fill in the rest of the project information

  5. Save at the bottom of the panel on the right-hand side.


Adding a template on the creating a project page

  1. Organisation menu > Projects

  2. Select 'Add' in the top right-hand corner

  3. Select the template from the menu in the bottom left-hand corner

  4. Enter the remaining fields on the page and save in the top right.
