Updated over a week ago

New year = new me (AND new timesheet approval, resourcing and template goodies). Let's put 2020 in the bin and kick things off with some more granular (and auto) timesheet approvals functionality, locking weeks vs days, creating templates from existing projects (I know, I know, you're excited) and improved navigation in the planning board.


Timesheet approvals

  • Approve single days/timesheets/expenses without locking the whole week

  • Managers can unapprove individual transactions

  • See if your approved timesheets were auto-approved (bills, office expenses etc)

  • See which transactions were approved by a manager


  • Set rules to auto-approve timesheets based on factors like staff resourcing, total time, and cash and travel expenses

  • Dynamically see why your timesheets haven't been auto-approved (catch timesheet errors quickly and adjust on the fly)


  • See the list of invoice stages even without WIP selected

Resourcing and the planning board

  • Introducing resourcing notes - add small notes at a resource or unassigned roles level to better communicate within your resourcing teams

  • Filter resourcing by Teams

  • Open a singular project schedule from the right side menu in the planning board


  • Performance improvements to to-do load times

  • Only see to-dos that are done in the last week (reduce the noise!)

  • Get a notification when a to-do is ready to review

Project templates

  • Copy a project to turn it into a project template (including work breakdown fees, budgets, and resourcing)

  • Save time by duplicating project templates (for when they're similar, but not the same)


  • Your notifications are now limited to the current organisation you're logged into

  • Fixed an issue with overtime rate changes requiring a manual update to being default on timesheets

  • Timesheet summary page now defaults to showing all timesheets (not just incomplete)

  • Project list on the timesheets page is now sorted by project number

  • Fixed an issue with travel expense rates where rate changes would not update the totals

  • Filter the transaction page by stages

  • Fixed an issue where companies were removed from reporting results if there were no personnel attached

  • Filter the project and contact list by custom fields and custom field values (including multi select fields)
