How to change back to planning mode?
In order to go back to planning mode you'll need to ensure the following criteria is met:
There can be no transactions or invoices against any of the stages in the project.
All stages are in Proposal Status.
Once you've ensured this is the case:
Organisation menu > Projects > Open the project
Project menu > Plan > Budget
Click the ellipses and select "Switch to planning mode"
Confirm the decision by clicking OK.
Your project will now be back in Planning mode.
How to delete a project?
Delete a project by:
Organisation menu > projects
Open the project you want to delete.
Click the '...' in the top right hand corner > delete
Click the 'delete' button on the confirmation page.
You are now returned to project list which is refreshed to show that the project has been deleted.
Why can't I delete a project?
Once the project is active, or has attached transactions or has invoices it cannot be deleted. Try changing the project status to complete or unsuccessful to hide it from the default project list view. Alternatively, you can delete all invoices and invoice documents, return the project to proposal status and then remove all transactions, you will then be able to delete the project.
Why is the project manager locked in the project contacts?
The project manager is locked and cannot be edited from the project contacts tab. To edit the project manager follow the steps below.
Organisation menu >projects
Open the project you want to edit > select edit in the top right hand corner
Select the 'x' to the right of the current project manager > select the new project manager from the dropdown menu
4. Save and close in the top right hand corner.
How can I view archived projects?
Organisation menu > projects
Click on the filter icon in the top left-hand corner.
Edit the 'Active' filter to show archived and then select Apply filter
This will show all your archived projects.
How to un-archive projects?
Organisation menu > projects
Click on the filter icon in the top left-hand corner.
Edit the 'Active' filter to show archived and then select Apply filter
Open the archived project > select the '...' in the top right hand corner > Unarchive
Why aren't my projects showing in the global search?
If you're trying to access a project through the global search and it's not appearing, it might be because the project is archived. Archived projects are not shown in searches by default and will only appear in the project list if you specifically set it to show archived projects.
Why can't I change a project rate group
It is not possible to change the rate group assigned to projects, instead you can change the rate group assigned to the stages of the project.
Why can't I change the project status from active to complete?
If you're unable to change the project status, please check the following:
There are no unapproved transactions on the project.
There are no draft invoices on the project.
