How to edit project contact flags

Project contacts, Contacts

Edition: Professional, Business, Enterprise

User-level: Project manager, Director, Assistant administrator, System Administrator


Assign the following flags to project contacts to manage who the client is, who you can invoice and who has access to the portal.

  • Invoice Contact – for invoice recipients.

  • Primary – if the main decision-maker.

  • Care Of – if invoices go to this contact’s address.

  • Portal Access – to enable chat and document downloads from the portal.


  1. Organisation menu > projects

  2. Project menu > Details > Contacts

  3. Select the pencil to the right of the contact you want to edit > choose the flag you want to assign to this contact

If you select change portal access, the below pop-out will appear and you'll need to select the checkbox to the left of 'portal access'

The project contacts page will update and the role will be assigned to this contact.


Tips!

  • There can only be one Primary contact assigned to a project

  • Edit the project manager from the project details page, not the project contacts
