1. Project Transactions Improvements
This month, we’re enhancing Project Transactions, which are designed to streamline financial workflows and improve user experience.
Key Changes and Benefits:
Split WIP: You can split time-based Work In Progress (WIP) for more precise financial management. This helps ensure your project financials accurately reflect the work completed and offers more flexibility in managing time-based transactions.
Filtering: New filtering options allow you to search transactions by Phase, Rate, Units, and more, providing better insights and more control over your project data.
Edit Expenses and Open Bills: You can now edit expenses directly from the Transactions page and open Bills with a single click. This will reduce administrative time by allowing these tasks to be completed on the same page.
Multi-Select and Row Actions: Consistent actions are now available across multiple rows, making managing large data sets more accessible. This is designed to save time by reducing repetitive tasks.
Usability: A more intuitive interface with new tooltips and the ability to save preferred filters for future use. This will enable users to navigate complex tasks with fewer errors.
Availability:
Split WIP, Multi-Select, and Row Menu actions are available for both Business and Enterprise customers. Return to WIP actions are exclusively available for Enterprise customers.

2. Fixes
Project Selection: Resolved an issue with the Project selection dropdown across various pages, such as Resource Planning, where project names were not displaying correctly.
QBO Connect: Addressed multiple issues related to the QBO (QuickBooks Online) integration:
Bills: Fixed an issue where Bills couldn’t sync to QBO if account code mapping is an Expense type
Invoice Payments: Fixed an issue where Invoice Payments created in QBO weren’t syncing to Synergy
Bill Payments: Fixed an issue where bill payments created in QBO could not be imported into Synergy.
Preview: Fixed an issue where bill payments outside the selected date range were incorrectly appearing as import options
3. Additional Improvements
We have updated our QuickBooks Online integration to allow US-based users to send Bills and Expenses directly to QBO from Synergy, improving data accuracy and simplifying expense management.
