Dashboard Explained

Breakdown of how firm time is allocated across chargeable, non-chargeable and leave categories. Time Analysis reveals the true composition of the firm's time — not just whether utilisation is high or low, but where non-chargeable time is going and whether the balance between billable and internal work reflects the firm's intentions.

How to use it

Use Time Analysis when investigating why utilisation is below target. If non-chargeable productive time is high (e.g. a heavy business development season), it explains low chargeable utilisation without being a problem. If internal/admin time is growing without a corresponding increase in output, that may indicate process inefficiency. If leave % is unusually high, it explains a short-term dip and no resourcing action is needed. This view is most useful when compared across offices or grades to identify whether time use patterns are consistent or diverging.
