We’ve been working to make managing your projects fast and easy with Synergy. This month, we’ve introduced enhancements to our Planning Boards that will help you get into your projects and deliver success faster.

New Project Filters

We’ve introduced new filtering capabilities across four of your key Planning Boards in Synergy - Project Planning, Resource Planning, Project Schedule, and Revenue Forecasting - making it fast and simple to find and analyse your project information.

Stage Progress Display

Your Revenue Forecasting Board now displays your stage progress which is shown as a percentage and editable.

Additional Improvements and Fixes

We’ve implemented a variety of fixes to help improve the way Synergy works.

Review projects faster, with new project filters

As part of our ongoing work to make managing your projects easier, we’ve introduced new filtering capabilities across four of your key Planning Boards in Synergy - Project Planning, Resource Planning, Project Schedule, and Revenue Forecasting - making it fast and simple to find and analyse your project information.

When reviewing project details on each of these boards, you can now save custom filter sets. This means you can set up filters that provide you with the detailed project information you’re regularly reviewing, give them a custom name, and come back to them when you need to, without having to manually clear and re-filter your data each time.

Having the information you need ready at your fingertips will help you get into your work faster, so you can get on with the business of designing and successfully deliver your projects.

In order to deliver this new capability, we’ve updated the UI of the slide-out filter panel. There are two new icons at the top left of the Filter Pane (highlighted in the image below), allowing you to both Save a filter, and Load a filter you have previously saved. You also have the option to make a saved filter your default view. The ‘Add Filter’ button has been removed, as all filter parameters are now shown on the pane. The ‘Remember my filter selection’ tick box has also been removed and replaced with this new functionality.

See and edit stage progress on the Revenue Forecasting Board.

To give you faster and more actionable insights into your project, your Revenue Forecasting Board now displays your stage progress. Shown as a percentage, this will allow you to see at a glance how you are tracking, and also edit it in place, so you can ensure that your progress is accurately represented.

Additional Improvements and Fixes

  • We’ve added a new filter for Primary Team, which will show on Project Planning, Project Schedule, Resource Planning, and Leave Calendar.

  • Fixed an issue where sometimes an API get request was not populating data for Created Dates and Updated Dates.

  • Fixed an issue where some Contacts were not deleting correctly.
